My name is Misty Craig and I own Healing Hands Nail Salon. For 12 years, I have worked here in town and finally decided to sail my own ship as they say. The time had come for me to be on my own. It was one of the scariest things I have done in my life. I am grateful for every day here at Healing Hands Nail Salon. When I set out to start the business, I never intended it to be what it is today. I began the business alone with lots of help from my family. To my surprise, I got very busy very fast. My daughter Jade, who was a dog groomer at the time, stepped in to help me with a lot of the daily tasks. I could not have done it without her. As the business evolved, things started to get busier and at that point I took Jade on as an apprentice. This was something I never intended to happen but she was very happy to learn a new trade. Soon, one year turned to two years and our business, thankfully, got even busier. It was time to look for some one else, and lucky for us we found Taya, who did an apprenticeship with both Jade and myself. As time passed and my staff needed to grow, Vanessa joined our team who already had two years experience in our trade. I am very grateful to have such wonderful, licensed, nail technicians. They are a very caring and compassionate team of girls. Last but not least, our newest addition to the team is Vikkie, she will begin her journey as a nail technician shortly. All of us here at Healing Hands Nail Salon are blessed and grateful for our wonderful clients. Many of them now have simply become friends. This is not just a place to get your pedicure or manicure, it's a place to relax and unwind, be treated like the special person you are, all while we pamper you the way you deserve to be pampered.
